Measured by Ball Rebound

Resilience can be Controlled

Surface feel is technically described as resilience and it can be measured in the laboratory. Resilience is measured by ball rebound from a specific height. Foams with call rebound in excess of 50% are considered to be in the higher range, while less than 40% leans toward a dead feeling. Resilience can be controlled during foam manufacturing and curing through chemical and mechanical means.
